Fort Caspar Museum is a great place to get the real history of the area and learn more about frontier life. They have a variety of exhibits, some permanent and some that change, and on some weekends have special events.

We have been twice to museum and still found it interesting. They have a variety of displays and cool out buildings. Many different artifacts and nice gift shop

This is a really neat place to visit with your family, kids, or even just a grown up field trip. I have taken students there for fieldtrips, and my family goes at least a few times a year. There are often free events for different ages, so check the calendar on their website!

If you love the history of the American west it is a must see. So much history in this area from Indian battles, range wars, outlaws, cowboys and life on the trail and in the old west.

The museum is excellent. It tells the story of the move West and especially of the areas around Wyoming.

The best thing about this museum was the guide who knew his information inside and out! His breadth of knowledge and enthusiasm made the museum come alive!

Although off-season, the fort rooms are closed, we were free to roam about, peer in windows, read the panel explanations around the fort. And inside, the museum was very informative, interesting and worthy of spending your time learning, touching, and contemplating. Well done exhibits.

I was very surprised by the facility at Fort Casper. They had a very nice room for a memorial service that included projector set up, tables and chairs. The staff was very helpfil and accommodating and provided everything we needed. Everyone also enjoyed the historical displays.
