Hard to Comprehend How Great a Ride Could be.......Don't miss it! This is Wyoming

Well, we had a larger group (family age 14-56) that rotated through for hourly horseback riding in groups of five. Our group of city-slickers just did the ride sans any chow or show. After a little ride off of Happy Jack Road, we launched into the most beautiful scenery you could imagine. It's just as convenient to get here from... More

I go horseback riding every summer in different parts of the US. The trail ride at Bit-O-Wyo ranch was one of the best, if not the best so far. The ranch is easy to get to and absolutely gorgeous. The horses look very happy, healthy and treated with care. Our wrangler (I'm so sorry I forgot his name) was a... More

I actually went in August 2014 though. The food was great, but the show ran really late and it was freezing cold. My whole family was shivering, but they brought us blankets. To get there you have to go on this long, unpaved, jagged road to get to the ranch. In the night it was pitch black and I guess... More

Had a few extra days while out in CO on business and decided to try a trail ride of Wyoming, figuring that would be the best way to see the place and boy were we right! The ranch feels so authentic the minute you turn on to the dirt road and pass the boulders. We went for a two hour... More

If you're in Cheyenne (or Laramie) and your looking for authentic fun then the Bit-O-Wyo Ranch is a must visit. Great surroundings, great meal, great home-spun country-western music. The people are friendly and this doesn't smell at all like "tourist trap". It was just plain good fun.

My husband, sister and 13 year-old grandson attended the dinner and musical comedy show at the Bit-o-Wyo Ranch in mid-July. We live in Virginia and our grandson lives in Maryland. I had attended this show perhaps 20 years ago and had some concerns about how it might have changed over the years and whether our grandson would enjoy it. My... More

Loved everything about this place. They were right when they told me, "When you turn into the ranch, don't think you're there. You have another mile or so." Beautiful drive to the actual location. Very nice meal but the whole evening was about the experience. Loved it.

Absolutely the best! We stopped here on our way from Denver to Yellowstone and what a great surprise it was. We got there just as our steak dinner was on the grill. We eat our fabulous dinner alongside the horses in the barn. After dinner, they turned the tables into benches and we were treated to a real country music... More

Good food, great music, nice scenery - a very pleasant evening! The steaks are cooked on the grill and dinner is eaten in the horse barn. The tables convert to seating for the show.
