I have taken my 2 year old daughter and my parents that were visiting from Germany here multiple times. It's a fun experience to ride the train and feed the camels and buffalo. They also have a petting zoo, you can take old west photos and they offer horse back riding. There is a little store where you can purchase... More

We didn't have a lot of time, but were able to ride the train and visit the gift shop. The gifts shop had a lot of cool gifts, and reasonably priced. The train ride was more than we hoped. Not only did we get to feed bison, we also got to feed camels. The guide was friendly and informative. The... More

If you are interested in seeing bison and other wildlife like coyotes roaming free, this is a tour you want to take. Conveniently located right off the highway, this attraction offers overnight camping, kiddie rides, ATV tours, gift shop and restaurant. My husband and I found a brochure about this attraction in our hotel and used this venue for our... More

We were the only passengers on a cold day, late in November, but the train car was warm. Our guide (also the train driver) gave us the history of the ranch and also talked about his life as a cowboy in Wyoming. The ranch supplies around 80% of the bison meat sold in the US. A small subset of the... More

I love eating at Terry Bison Ranch restaurant. You can get all different types of Buffalo dishes and one my favorites are the Bison Ribs. Be prepared for your table to tip over when they bring these tasty monsters out.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place! We didn't expect much as we pulled in due to the run down look, but we soon realized that it's like that on purpose to look "old west"-ish. They had very cool exotic animals, ostriches, camels, llamas etc, and the bison herd was very majestic. The "trading post" i.e. gift shop, was more... More

After traveling all day from South Dakota we stopped in to the Terry Bison Ranch to have lunch. We had quick and friendly service and the bison burgers were delicious. These were cooked just perfectly and were not dried out at all like they sometimes can be. Lots to see and do at this place.

My family of teens and grandchildren spent about 3 hours here today. It looks like they have had more activity there in the past. But we went ahead and paid the $12 per person for the train ride which consists of one car...Lol. The train stops in the middle of a herd of buffalo...oops...bison and there you can feed them.... I was not going to have traveled 3,000 miles and not gotten to see the American Bison. After having no success in the Blackhills area or the Badlands of S. Dakota we decided Terry Bison Ranch was sure to be a sure thing. Although they are a very docile herd I think that made it better because we were able... More
