Although the actual museum was generally well-maintained and featured a great deal of beautiful art, I was appalled with how unprofessional and, quite frankly, immature Ms. Megan Hesser acted towards guests. One would think that a professional in her position would treat guests with more...More

Lots of covered wagons in various styles, home fixtures, clothes etc from the frontier days. Well laid out telling a story.

A great place to visit if you have any love of or interest in rodeo history. Wonderful stories about some of the truly greats in the sport.

This is my second time visiting the museum. The exhibits have changed, which made my second visit feel like the first time. You will find lots of history on the Frontier Days, rodeo champions, and tons of artifacts. It's a perfect size museum and easy...More

The museum is mostly carriages in terms of the main collections. There was also extensive artwork out which was very nice. The kids area did have a lot of dress-up areas and props for them to play with. Unfortunately, at $10/adult it's too overpriced in...More

After visiting the museum, we put the Frontier Days on our bucket list. Never been to a rodeo before but we're hooked. You will be too. What set the stage for a memorable experience were the full scale bronzes of bull and bucking bronco riders...More

Well worth a visit. What a great place, a step back in time to the old Wild West & native America, fantastic selection of exhibits. Be sure to watch the video which shows the annual Rodeo & bull fighters etc. Would certainly visit again, I’m...More

This is a small museum located next to the botanical gardens. It's a nice place to pass some time if it's really cold outside and you're looking for some indoor activities (it was snowing when we got to Cheyenne so it fit perfectly). Inside you'll...More

Who isn't a fan of the movie "8 Seconds"?? The first thing you see when pulling in the parking lot, is the huge statue of Lane Frost, riding a bull. I personally was looking for Lane Frost and Chris Ledeax items in the museum, but...More

There is a statue of Lane Frost at the entrance to this museum. I had seen a movie about him and at the end of the movie, it said there was a statue of him in Cheyenne, WY. We visited our daughter and son-in-law over...More

I am not positive but unless it is a service dog I don't think dogs are allowed. The same would be true for the trolley history tour. I would suggest you call to verify if dogs are allowed inside.

I didn]t see anything either. I know mid July they have rodeos for the Frontier Days. I suggest you do a search in the surrounding areas within a few hours of Cheyenne. I flew into Denver Colorado when I was out that way... More
