Traveled there for a family reunion, stopped at this museum as part of the things to do in Cheyenne. It had great history of the rodeo. Was very good visit!

Went there with friends and were blown away by the collection of horse drawn carriages. All shapes and all sizes. The rest os the museum was great as well and the gift shop had plenty of variety.

We visited the museum on a rainy day, planning to spend 30 minutes and were there about 90. Interesting displays about rodeo history, rodeo cowboys, and very good examples of all kinds of transportation from the 1800's

It would have been best during Frontier Days, but still an excellent stop. Lots of interesting history of the area and the rodeo. A very nice stop.

I especially liked the Cheyenne to Deadwood stage coach - 300 miles, 50 hours, stopping every 10 miles.

I am not positive but unless it is a service dog I don't think dogs are allowed. The same would be true for the trolley history tour. I would suggest you call to verify if dogs are allowed inside.

I didn]t see anything either. I know mid July they have rodeos for the Frontier Days. I suggest you do a search in the surrounding areas within a few hours of Cheyenne. I flew into Denver Colorado when I was out that way... More
