This museum is just the right size for getting an overview of what the state has to offer. An hour or so will get you to each corner. This is a kid friendly place and everyone in our group learned something new. Also there is no charge for admission - donations accepted.

The Wyoming State Museum is a wonderful way to spend a morning. The greeter at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. The museum featured a terrific exhibit of the state's history. I particularly enjoyed the exhibit about the state capital restoration. Be sure to visit the gift shop, too. There is no entrance fee, but donations are welcome.

Free! Great history of the state. Mining, Indians and so many different types of animals. Fossils were amazing. Great gift shop too.

Visited this free museum across from the state house. Great museum with artifacts, movie clips, and written history. For instance, First state that allowed women to vote, back in 1800's.

This is by far one of the best free museums I have ever visited! The displays are professionally designed and presented. The signage is easy to read. There are interactive activities and exhibits for children. This is a must-do when you are in the area!

Took my two wild cowboys here for a few hours. So much stuff to see and they couldn't get enough. There is a section for kids that allows them to play and learn about pioneer life. Very interactive and fun. Also has a gift shop with nice gifts very reasonably priced! A must see!

Thank Keri P
