I went with a private group, so all of the buildings were closed except for the bar. We were a photo group and the old wagons and buildings were great to photograph.

On your way to Yellowstone? Old Trail Town is on the way and is great fun and very historic. Lots of artifacts and old frontier cabins. Worth the visit!

I must admit now that we did not actually take a look around the whole place because the first couple of minutes was enough to see what a dump this place was.

If you enjoy wild west history, this is a quick and easy look and some really nice historical items. We found some of the indian history and artifacts most enlightening.

Although on the day we visited the Old Town Trail it was raining it didn't spoil it for us as most of it was spent in the buildings. We found it all very interesting and well worth a visit.

Truly disappointed . Closed when posted online it was open. Traveled from Big Sky. Suggest calling first instead of checking websites for hours of operation. .

An excellent visitor place, re-assembled buildings from the old west. Very interesting artefacts. Graves of some of the "wild" west's characters.

It was a great sense of history, though without the old people. The town is well set out and there is a natural progression round it. I would have liked to see more of the buildings set out was they would have been rather than...More

This reconstructed village is somewhat of an oddity; at first pass one can get the sense that this is an artificially assemblage of cabins put together simply as a tourist attraction, but as one goes from cabin to cabin the initial impression evanesces quickly and...More

No, there is a fee, but you pay inside the old western store (first building). There is no official wrist band or entrance. I think it was $8 each, but I'm not positive.
