Wonderfully place

Admission fee does apply, but it is worth it. I lived in Dubois for three years and I wish I had visited it more. They have all types of great information. Good for young children.

We brought our 3 year old Granddaughter on vacation with us and she absolutely loved this place. Admission fee's apply, but very informative and worthy of a visit.

I really enjoyed visiting the Bighorn Sheep Interpretive Center. They begin with a video, which is dated but very informative. I had no idea there were so many kinds of bighorn sheep all over the world, but the museum has trophies of them on the walls. In addition to recreations of habitat, several displays are low-tech interactives. I found them... More

We have not visited the Bighorn Sheep Center for over 15 years. They have expanded the displays so much, we spent over an hour looking at mounts, pictures and vidoes. The center really does a nice job of highlighting Bighorn Sheep. I also liked the display of other Sheep from around the world. T Bone was a very unusual ram... More

We raise sheep so this was on our must see list. We enjoyed it. It is small and will not take very long to go through. We watched the film. We didn't take the walking trail. There was a big forest fire at the time we were there so it was very smoky but also provided for a unique experience.

We stopped here and then took the self guided tour looking for sheep. We didn't see any but did hike to a waterfall.

There's a nominal charge for this museum ($4, I believe) but well worth it. The people running the museum do a great job. Exhibits are well set up and easy to understand. There's something to appeal to the adult as well as the little kids. Definitely recommend it!

This was a great place to stop a learn about Bighorn Sheep. Nearby is one of the largest herds of bighorns in the nation. This center has great learning exhibits for both kids and adults. Once you are ready the staff will direct you to an area where you can drive to try and see the bighorn in their natural... More

Very interesting place! It isn't very large but has a LOT of information on Bighorn Sheep. The displays are well laid out. The people working there are friendly and very helpful. We had lots of questions about not only the sheep but the area and they had no problem answering any of them. Worth the stop if you have the... More

It didn't take long to tour this museum. But, they have a great collection and there is a lot of information if you are willing to read the displays. It is very inexpensive, so worth a look.
