We were out on a freestyle (no real plan) road trip and saw the sign to this historic site. It was a fun stop. Lots of well-preserved history in one place. Get out walk around and enjoy.

We go to the Mountain Man Rendezvous every Labor Day Weekend. Just for the day, it has become a family tradition. This is great for a blast to the pioneer past in its primitive form. Dress up in period clothing during this time and your...More

This place was worth the stop. Interesting going through the buildings and the exhibits. It took me between 1-2 hours to take in everything.

It's like a visit to yesteryear. An authentic and well restored fort with a significant historical past. Well worth the time if you're willing to exit the freeway for a few momoments of historical happenings.
