We were traveling alone as just a couple. This was a peaceful stop and we were so well treated. My husband is a veteran and his admission was free!! The gift shop is unique and properly priced. We will return.

If you appreciate fine art you must go. The museum itself is beautiful and situated above the National Elk Refuge. The art is exquisite. The museum is not huge so be sure to take your time and savor it all.

We didn’t pay to go thru the museum but the little kids loved all the stuffed and bronze animals and the animal prints embedded in the tile floor. Great view for the elk that gather during the winter season

Plan enough time to enjoy the beautiful exhibit. Paintings have descriptions next to them. Take time to read them, as it is very educational.

The place is an art piece itself. It has great views of the elk refuge and plenty of parking. Go here to see famous pieces from artist Andy Warhohl. There is an abundant amount of sculptures and traditionals that portray wildlife in an amazing way....More
