I would only recommend Lewis and Clarke for you White Water rafting experience. They are a locally owned company who only hire experienced guides. The river was a record high this June, because of all the snow melt. We flew down the Snake River with...More

Enjoyed a beautiful morning on the Snake River, which was running high and fast. The folks at L&C were knowledgeable and helpful when signing up. The staff was friendly. Our guide, Aaron, was awesome - funny and knowledgeable about the river. He went over lots...More

We picked this trip as it was billed as a float trip, not rapids. The Snake River was at a 20 year high and the trip was made in half the normal time. It was still calm enough for the entire family. We got to...More

Our float was on 6/11/17. The snake river was quite high due to the warm temps and runoff. The weather called for rain and temps in the high 40's. We had scheduled the 8:15am float weeks in advance. I was a little nervous having a...More

We had an awesome day on the Snake River. Our river guide Orion pointed out tons of wildlife and natural features that made our trip unforgettable. And, the views of the Tetons are breath-taking. We highly recommend Lewis & Clark River Expeditions!

Our family of five had booked the whitewater trip for this afternoon. Unfortunately, there was a cancellation from another group at the last minute which left our boat three seats short, and with twenty year record high water conditions on the Snake River. The owner...More

Trip is about 3.5 hours....too long for 7 year old?

Response from GOWYO | Property representative |
3.5 hours is the total round-trip time. For whitewater trips this summer, most trips will be 1.5 hours or less on the water. A tad more for scenic float trips. Time depends on time of year (water flows)
