We enjoy going to small town museums to learn more about where we are. We found this museum to be pretty average. It didn't really tell us that much about the area's history. The video that was playing actually provided more information than the museum displays. We thought it was a bit high priced for what was provided.

Good way to spend an hour looking into Jackson Holes history. Great photos and interesting artifacts. It's fairly small, so 45 mins to an hour was plenty for me. It's in the middle of town, so it's only a few steps away. Check it out.

This is a small place that tells a great story with videos that are worth watching. Lots of artifacts. They carry a number of local history books and a highlight for us was meeting a local author who was just launching her book which she signed for us. It shows how the town grew from nothing. well worth the visit.

This museum is in downtown Jackson WY. It’s small and rustic and contains a wealth of information, artifacts, an hour-long video of the history of the entire Jackson Hole/Teton area. For such a modest space, it’s well presented and interesting. Also has an unusually well stocked gift shop. $6.00/person on a Saturday in July.

The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes did a local event in collaboration with the museum and it was really fun! The staff were super nice and kind to all of us. I really enjoyed the history of all peoples that were told and that the tribes were included. They had a super fun cute lil scavenger hunt too!

We were the only visitors at the time when we went. The person on staff was super friendly and helpful. There was a lot of info even though it is a small museum. Information given by the video that was playing was great. Cute gift shop. Be sure to check out the display of photos of women in body from the area. It’s all along the hallway to the restrooms. Well worth a look.

This is a small local museum that provides decent coverage of the history of the area. The video is worth watching. Don’t miss the photos in the hallway that show how the town grew over the years. The best part was the walking tour led by Maria. She kept our interest for almost an hour and a half, and was very informative. Too bad you will have to wait until next Spring for tours to begin again!
