This was our first visit to this area of the country and we were blown away by the beauty. We visited during an unusually warm week in September. Bright clear skies, short sleeved shirts. Amazing terrain and vistas around every bend.

Beautiful park with incredible vistas and some great hiking. The area around Mount Medicine Bow is especially stunning.

The area is beautiful and there is a quaint town (Centennial, WY) located in the area. Lots of hiking/walking trails. Plenty of camping areas. Recommend spending a few days in the area.

I wasn't prepared for how beautiful this National Forest, and the Snowy Mountains, is. Great place to spend time outdoors in beautiful scenery.

Started hiking in late afternoon at Lake Marie West trailhead. Fascinating views but also strong winds.

Definitely worth the time to drive up to Centennial and over the pass if you are in Laramie. Beautiful lakes and lots of hiking opportunities. We wish we'd had more time to do more hiking.

Absolutely, but the highway runs right down the middle of it, and if you blink, you'll miss the town. Speed limit is much lower than highway speed, but dog can't run free. Apologies for taking so much time to answer. Just... More
