We visit the Raptor Center every time we are in Jackson. Each time, we meet new birds (up close and personal) and are amazed by their beauty and nobility. A not-for-profit organization, it is a haven and hospital for injured hawks, eagles, owls and other raptors. But most impressive is it's educational outreach and habitat protection efforts. A worthy cause... More

The Teton Raptor Center rehabilitates all kinds of raptors and releases them back into the wild. Birds that can't be released back into the wild for whatever reason live on at the raptor center and are incorporated into its educational programs. Their work is not only terrifically worthwhile, but absolutely fascinating. This is a great spot to stop and visit,... More

The Teton Raptor Center is a quaint and special place that is worth checking out. The presentation was enjoyed by our entire group--young and old alike. It's truly an up closer and personal look at some of the most beautiful creatures you'll ever see! This is different than any other bird presentation you've watched before--really great info presented in an... More

I have been to the Raptor Center several times & found it fascinating each time. It is a great learning experience & exciting to be so close to these amazing creatures! The educators are very well-informed & enthusiastic. The work of the Center is so admirable. It is wonderful to see an organization trying to mitigate the adverse effects of... More

The girl handling the birds was very knowledgeable and the birds were not afraid of her. I really didn't know what a raptor bird was but learned it is another word for birds of prey who hunt and feed on other animals. They have strong, grasping feet and talons.

Whether you're a family or a couple this is an hour of your time in the Jackson area you need to spend at the Teton Raptor Center! This is a great way to spend an hour or more of your time. You learn so much and see hawks, eagles and owls up close and personal instead of viewing them from afar. You will enjoy this experience and get great pictures.

Visited the Teton Raptor Center with our daughter, son in law and our 4 grandkids, ages 6-12! We all enjoyed learning about the different types of raptors and how important the center is in saving these birds from injuries and hoping for their release back in their natural habitat.
