This beach park is a great spot to check out the surfers or look for the turtles swimming in the area. The river is beautiful.

The view is magnificent - a great place for photos due to the view and the fact that it is a popular surfing 🏄 spot. Well worth a visit and the drive to reach it is worth the trip as well.

Tis is a great location to watch surfers and enjoy a beautiful view just a few miles north of Hilo. The beach is a little hard to find and there are not many places to park, so arrive early. There are restroom facilities.

This is the best surf right around Hilo. Great little beach area with black sand. Gets super crowded if it's nice out.
