My husband and I went here on the recommendation of a friend and so glad we did. Beautiful gardens and a low key Aloha vibe. My masseuse, Ella, was incredibly skilled. The deep tissue massage I requested was the best I've ever had and out repaired and relaxed. A must do if you're in Kona.

This was my second visit in the past 8 years and some improvements have been made. It's great to soak outside and watch the birds and feel the warm breeze. A bit pricy.

What a lovely setting to relax in after a few action packed days. Bit of a tricky one to find, but it is well worth it. Lovely tropical gardens, and traditional Hawaiian private hot tubs. Tubs seat up to 4 adults comfortably. Very reasonably priced at $60 for 3 adults for an hour in the hot tub.

My husband and I visited the Big Island recently for our honeymoon. We researched massages at all of the big resorts but none had that great of reviews (or prices for that matter). We found Mamalahoa Hot Tubs and Massage on Tripadvisor. The great reviews there (and on Yelp) convinced us to give them a try. We absolutely loved our... More

We got a 30-min hot tub and 90-min couples massage here, for half of what you'd pay for a comparable treatment at one of the Kohala resorts. The grounds are beautiful, the hot tub is comfortable (not too hot, since you're in Kona), and the hot stone massages were excellent.

My husband and I live nearby but have only been to the tubs once! What is wrong with us!? Okay... we work too much! This location has wonderful energy! The grounds are distinctly 'retreat' and welcome you right away. I recommend the tub and the cold shower which comes out of the lava rock! Beautiful and relaxing...a very nice treat... More

My husband and I went for massages and a hot tub. Deb was wonderful and the architecture, grounds and gardens are spectacular. The hot tub is in the middle of the lush forest and the sounds of exotic frogs and birds serenade you as you unwind. The massages were fantastic too. Expert masseurs, very professional and un-rushed. Everyone was very... More

Just got back from Mamalahoa Hot tubs and not sure I can find enough words to describe how beautiful and professional this place is. We were greeted at the parking area by the owner/operator and shown inside. Once there she gave us our towels and bottle of water, and showed us over to our hot tub. After a brief explanation... My favorite thing to do on a chilly eve or rainy day!! They have good kama'aina rates for the tubs. Wonderful way to relax and soak sore muscles, they use salt in the tubs, very therapeutic.
