Located on 24 beautiful acres in Mountain View, midway between Hilo and Volcanoes National Park, stands our farm, roasting building and retail sales facility. Come take a full tour of the farm (aprox. 1.5 Hours) or a mini tour (aprox. 20 Minutes) in our roasting room. Either way, it's fun for the whole family and you'll learn a lot about coffee, farming and even a little history. Kids won't even know they're learning because it's so much fun. Before or after your tour, be sure and enjoy a fresh light meal, using locally grown fruits and vegetables. We have one of the best Portuguese Bean soups around. Our hours are: Tuesday: 8:00am - 4:30pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday 8:00am - 2:00pm Sunday, Monday, Wednesday CLOSED If cruise ships are in port we will also be open on those days, until 4:30pm!. If you're here on a Saturday, be sure and visit our small farmers' market with big aloha, where you'll find some real treasures, great produce, a wonderful breakfast and some great local music. It truly is Mountain View's Favorite Gathering Place. Every Saturday from 9:00am until 2:00pm. We'd love to meet you!

We stopped here as part of a tour. It's great to see proper hand picked coffee being processed and to try some really smooth coffee. You can also buy and ship coffee and other stuff to the USA and rest of the world. If you are passing I'd recommend calling in

Aloha Joe, (That would be a great name for a Hawaiian coffee, however someone already has that name!). Mahalo for your kind words and for sharing them with other travelers. We hope you had a great time on your vacation as well as your stop in with us on Hawaii Island. Please stop by the next time you are in... More

This was a stop on a tour and it was great. The coffee was excellent and the service was great. The coffee mill was very interesting and had a lot of interesting facts about coffee. We loved it, the smell and the taste.

We stopped here during a tour of sites around Hilo. The owner gave us a brief introduction to coffee been roasting and processing. It was actually quite interesting. We had coffee there and it was very, very good. They have a little store with a variety of local products. A bit spendy, as is the bagged coffee for sale, but... More

Aloha and mahalo for your comments. I appreciate you taking the time to give us, and other travelers, your valuable feedback. And I'm glad you enjoyed your time with us. It's true that the perception of Hawaiian coffee is more 'spendy'. Yet, a cup of 100% Hawaiian coffee can cost $.43 as compared to $.25 for an other world origin... More

The coffee tour and tasting was well worth a stop on the way to the volcanoes. The owner and her staff were all so accommodating. The coffee presentation was very informative and there was a darling gift shop that ships goodies home to the mainland.

Stopped here on a tour and enjoyed learning how the coffee is grown, harvested and roasted. Also was able to sample a variety of coffee blends (highly recommend the pineapple coffee) along with mac nuts and mac nut butter.

The staff was very friendly (Raelyn and Rachael) and the coffee was amazing. They walked us through the coffee making process. All pesticide free and healthy. Very knowledgeable and seemed passionate about the coffee. It was Rachael's first day but you wouldn't have been able to tell. She was a pro. Wonderful experience.

I work at a coffee roasting company in Indiana and I was super excited to visit some of the Hawaii coffee farms. Hilo Coffee Mill was great! I was served a wet cappuccino and delighted to see the use of medium- dark roast espresso. Not light. I visited the roaster and talked coffee for bit while sipping what I would... More
