Off the beaten path a bit, but worth the time. Nice warm pool connected to the ocean. The day we were there it felt great as you could feel the cooler ocean water of high tide coming in. Some locals said it had been a...More

Spent sooo many days of our vacation here! A wonderful place to take kids to spend the day. It was never too crowded and the water was always perfect for swimming.

Just as we were beginning to give up on finding the hot pond, we finally came to the clearing where the parking lot was located. We went directly into the water and found that it was mostly locals swimming and playing in the huge natural...More

Cool little stop. We only spent about 20 minutes here to check it out, but it seems like a popular spot. The water was warm with warmer pockets, but we mostly enjoyed floating by the breakwater as the big waves crashed over it. People were...More

Heed the open wound warnings for this attraction. My wife and I visited in August 2017 and she got a skin infection from picking up a sliver in the bottom of her foot without actually getting in the water.

My teenage daughters enjoyed spending some time hanging out at the warm pool. They especially liked being near the ocean side of the pool, waiting for some of the big waves to come crashing over the wall. The price is right, FREE, so what's there...More

This is a great park! It has a large manmade pool (can easily fit 50-70 people) that ranges from warm to very warm temperature depending on the sea level. It is almost completely blocked off from the ocean, and it's staffed by a lifeguard, so...More

OK... To set the record straight... and as a point of reference, I live here. The charm of our area is the feeling of remoteness (yet easily in reach of main amenities in Hilo) or disconnectivity (from the madness that... More

To test of my knowledge, it's open 7 days/week. They have their own website; I just couldn't access it this morning.
