We thoroughly enjoyed this day trip. Be conscious of the tides as people have been swept away. Wear the right footwear.

Went during our honeymoon a few years back. It was magical! We went twice! It was easily the best snorkeling experience we have ever had and it was free! Beautiful corals and fish. Each tidal pool had a magical world in of itself.

What a loss. This was one of the better places to snorkel on the south end of the Big Island. My heart goes out to the people who used to live there.

So sad. June 2018. Pele covered over the tide pools. All the fishy’s and Honu boiled to death. It was the nicest snorkeling in the state

Sad to see these wonderful Tide pools go, but we are not in charge of Madame Pele and what she wants to do.

The Ocean is always warm amd plenty of tropical fish to see while snorkeling along the pools. The walk to the Tide Pools is scenic and full of tropical plantlife.
