Waikoloa is about 20-25 minutes from the airport and if you are staying at one of the pricey resorts in the area you may be itching to spend less! Queens Market has a grocery store whose whole milk price is $9/gallon. They do offer cooked...More

Love this little shopping area... fantastic stores (Olivia Clare is my favourite), places to eat, and things to do. New cinema has 3 theatres, and serves food and beverages right to your seat. Lots of room to roam, and places to stop and enjoy the...More

Not sure what to say as shopping in Hawaii is pretty much the same. A lot of t-shirt stores, jewelry and places to eat. Be sure to go in middle and see the lake area. This mall has a number of places to sit on...More

Good selection of shops, and appreciate the food court for a quick bite before heading back to the hotel. Many shops are pricey, but not overly so and are handy for quick stops. Would recommend other stores for groceries and other Staples though. About what...More

Lots of little malls in Kohala. Another decent one here. The more well known mall and fashion brands aren't here, those are at Kings most likely. Here you have lots of local stores specializing in art, nicknacks, food. Sanseis is here, a great restaurant, the...More

Nice shops. Very clean. Nice open area. They have free shows and activities on some days. Watched a 2 hour performance by Ekolu Mea Nui. Fantastic! Another night we watched a Polynesian show. Beautiful!

Wanting more than ABC store quality and more authentic than SoDo, this new store up by food court has quality Big Island products. They carry AWA cork bags (really nice), Ahualao Farms Mac Nuts (so much better than anything you get at Costco), and Ola...More

There is not much to do here. I’d recommend going here only if you want a cheap meal, groceries, or some incredibly expensive artwork. I greatly appreciated the cleanliness and tranquility.

This is a higher end shopping area. If you are not staying in the area, don't make the drive here. Long way from Kona and nothing special.

A bit secluded from most of the tourist areas, this place in my opinion is one of the nicest parts of the Big Island. Upscale shops at both the Queens Market Place as well as the Kings Shops across the street. Several restaurants to eat...More

There are many reasonably-priced restaurants in the Queens Marketplace, including a food court where you can get take-out and eat in the gorgeous plaza. The grocery store in the Marketplace also does takeout. Stay far away... More

As a scotch drinker myself, I can tell you that I purchased my scotch whiskey at Island Gourmet Market. They have a decent selection of popular brands such as Chivas Regal, Johnny Walker etc.
