Go see it, walk along it, jump off it. Soak in the views. Go paddle boarding. Swim. Sit on the beach. Smile. I spent the whole time just grateful that I could be in such a beautiful place.

Worth the drive, the Hanalei Pier offers beautiful scenery. There are no waves and not too many people swimming, paddle boarding, and jumping off the shaded pier.

A must see Pier with so much island history. Locals are drawn to this gathering spot the beach to the left of Pier is wide open the right beach is smaller with more shade and car access right on beach

We went to swim, and to catch the amazing views. This place was my favorite! It's absolutely breath taking. There was a lot of trash out (however it was a holiday weekend). Sail boats around. Lots of swimming, surfing, and paddle boarding.

The parking can be difficult because this is a popular place to swim, picnic and take boat tours. The pier is good for a quick stop to see the bay. Also fun to watch the children jump oss and into the water. No fee, good...More

There are many beaches to enjoy in Kauai and Hanalei Bay is one of my favorites. It's easy to get to, no hiking required, plenty of parking options, rest rooms and outdoor showers in a couple places. The views are enchanting no matter what time...More

I heart this pier and this bay. It's beautiful and clean. My husband and daughter jumped from the pier and had a blast. My little one played in the water all day. Amazing sunsets happen at this place.

Stopped over at the pier after traveling to the North Shore and seen the local kids jumping off the pier. Beautiful view of the mountains and coastline. There is limited parking here!

We spent several happy minutes watching the surfers ride the waves into Hanalei beach. Kids enjoyed diving from the pier and several folks were fishing, too.

The pier was upgraded a few years ago. It is very large and the end of the pier has a covered area and limited seating. The view from the pier at sunset is world class. Don't miss it!

Yes! Just grab a fishing license! (I am sure you could get away with not getting one but better safe than sorry because there are hefty fines for not having camping/fishing licenses on Kauai)
