Excellent time with our instructor, Keaton, for our family of 4. Everyone was able to surf within minutes of hitting the waves. Hanelai Bay was a great place to learn. The 90 minute lessons was a perfect amount of time. Easy phone reservations, office staff...More

Where to begin? First off, Rick was a great teacher. He was personable, gave great instructions, pushed us to really nail our positions and gave us one of our favorite food recommendations of the trip -- lol -- the chili pepper chicken at the Snack...More

We probably had less than five minutes instruction on the beach, and before we knew it, we were in the water. Hanalei Bay was a perfect place to learn how to surf. We had a few sets near the pier with not much of a...More

We showed up for a 9:30 lesson - met with Henry (super nice guy) who got us signed in. I had never surfed and my wife was a little anxious given she'd taken lessons before with little success. Rick was our instructor and we couldn't...More

What a fantastic time!! Two couples took the short 15-20 minute on-land lesson first which was thorough, clear, patient and spot on. After short 2 minute drive you are beachside. Long sleeves are helpful b/c of the tendency of arms/armpits to rub side of board...More

Professional and timely outfit. Justin was our instructor and he was fantastic. We took our three kids, ages 11, 9 and 5, for lessons in Maui and they had an experience leaving them resistant to giving it another try. Justin was great about easing any...More

Rick taught my 12 year old son to surf! Got up on his second try. He can't wait to surf again! Made lessons fun and relaxed. Checkin was a breeze and entire staff is so friendly!

After a quick safety demonstration on premises, the kids were riding small waves in nearby beach in less than 10 minutes thanks to super cool instructor Henry. Good vibe and excellent attitude. He even invited us parents to give it a try! Besides the above,...More

This group is amazing! Henry had our kids (16, 14 & 12) surfing in the first 10 minutes! Henry was very easy to work with and patient. Robin took great care of us and we rented boards twice since then. Bonus: if you get lessons...More

Hi! We will be coming to Kauai in early March and have 3 teenagers who want to surf a lot on our trip. They have each surfed maybe 6x in the last 5 years but I would not consider them intermediate surfers. What part of the island will be most ideal for their skill level at that time of year? Thanks in advance!

H I. The north shore in Hanalei Bay is the best. Go early in the day for less crowds and gentler waves.
