The trail that goes along the beach here, 5 miles of it, is utterly gorgeous and a lovely ride. the bikes from the Coconut Coasters, however, are WAY over priced. Thirty dollars for 24 hours, why the bike I rented must be worth about $5,000 by now. Like I said, great guys, OK bikes but. hey, lower your rates by... More

We have rented from Coconut Coasters every time we have stayed on Kauai. They charge $8.50 an hour, or $18 for a half day. If you want to do the Ke Ala Hele Makalea path, it will only take you about an hour if you don't make any stops. The half day option allows you to take your time, ride... More

We rented 4 bikes + bike carrier and were on our way. We took them to the top of Waimea Canyon and rode back down to the town or Waimea. Fun times. Kept the bikes until the next day, and they let us bring them back past the 24 hour limit by an hour with no additional charge! Very friendly... More

We rented two cruisers so we could explore the Path and I'm glad we went with Coconut. The staff was very friendly and they made it such an easy process. I loved that they support so many other local businesses. Another thing I noticed was that you can bring your recyclables to them and they'll make sure they are properly... More

We popped into the store to hire two bikes. The staff were so friendly & assisted us with the choices we had on bikes, helmets & a basket each. They helped us complete the forms & id details and within no time we were off on our ride. The bikes were clean and in excellent condition. We cannot fault the... More

Nice fellow talked us into trying the tandem for a fun trail ride. Equipment was in great shape and functioned flawlessly. We had it for two hours. Loved exploring the coast on the bike. Thx much. The Coleman's.

We checked out a couple bike rental places and this one had the newest, best maintained bikes. They threw in a free basket for my camera case and the staff was super nice. We really enjoyed our ride on the paved bike path. I recommend this if you get the chance. Then eat at Chicken in a Barrel when you're... More

Super nice staff and awesome views along the path! Plenty of picnic tables along the path. By the rental shop there are lots of places to grab a bite to eat.

To tell you the truth, I was kind of hesitant about the prospect of biking with my 8 year old son, 2 year old daughter and wife; especially since most people consider Hawaii and vacation as rest and relaxation and not cardio workout. However, the guys at Coconut Coasters did a great job in hooking us up with beach cruiser... More
