Love to visit the Koa store to view the handmade items made from the beautifully grained koa wood native to Kauai. My brother-in-law enjoys woodcrafting and enjoys purchasing materials as well as the pretty boxes we purchase for gifts to hold keepsakes.

Well worth a visit, but you might want to leave your credit cards in the car. There is some beautiful stuff here, as well as some kitsch--something for everyone. Koa is the consummate renewable resource. It is only harvested from dead trees--no logging. It is...More

This store ie lumber yard is not what it use to be. You could buy Koa by the piece in short lengths and different thicknesses along with already made items. Recently they moved their shop to this location which greatly reduced their square footage and...More

Not a lot of variety or volume, but beautiful artwork by locals for sale here. I ended up just buying a beautiful Kia wood bookmark.

The Koa Wood Store is located in Lihui, the capitol city of Kauai. The store has a great selection of koa wood items, most made right there in the shop. If you appreciate beautiful handcrafted wood then you must stop here.
