Had a great time sportfishing with Jodie and Mark. We caught 2 approx, 13 lb. jack tunas. The waters were a little rough. Not many fish biting.

We booked a 6 hour charter after reading the reviews here. The boat was in good condition but is pretty stripped down to its bones and is purely a fishing platform, don't expect much more as some reviewers seem to expect. It's not a luxury cruise, it's a fishing trip. The one thing about the boat which was negative was... More

I took my father and nephew fishing Sept. 12 with Kai Bear. We were not very experienced at ocean fishing. The crew (Austin and Ben) were excellent and knew what they were doing. They did everything including filleting our fish. We stayed out longer because we kept catching fish so our trip was extended several more hours. We caught 24... More

In the beginning my husband and I thought fishing with Kai bear was going to be amazing. It seemed like Gina was really helping us get on a boat before we left. Fishing on a charter boat was literally his only request during our entire trip. Our trip started out okay, the crew seemed to be welcoming, no complaints about... More

I had an amazing time fishing with Kai Bear. First of all the boat was clean comfortable. Next the crew was knowledgeable, a riot to talk to, and did their damnedest to help me catch some huge fish and have the experience of a life time. If you are serious about sport fishing choose Kai Bear.

Trip of a lifetime! Awesome crew and extremely helpful staff. Worked with us to reschedule during bad weather and worked with us on available dates. Few hours into the trip we hooked up with a Blue Marlin and ended up returning to the harbor to put the fish on ice to preserve the meat so it wouldn't spoil since we... More

Fished the Kai Bear ''Grander". They have two Bertrams. Bertram has its reputation as one of the premier "big water" boats worldwide. Kauai is pretty exposed and the day we went out it was blowing with heavy rain. Since I only had one day to fish in a scheduled tournament backing out due to weather was not an option. Boy... More

Went out with Kai Bear Charters last Saturday, Capt Harry, Mate John, got us hooked up on some nice Ono, was very happy with that, but then the fish of my life, got to fight a big Ahi, took everything we had to get it in the boat! What an amazing experience, I thought I had caught nice fish before... More
