The Hawaii Alive Luau Show is an outstanding show that brings you a unique and authentic Polynesian cultural experience through live traditional chants, music, drumming and dancing from the islands of Hawaii, Tahiti and Samoa. The show is located within the Marriott's enchanting tropical gardens and includes live music, an interactive host, traditional and modern hula, ancient chants, a chance to learn the hula yourself, Tahitian dancing, and the thrilling Samoan fire knife. We also offer optional private dining prior to the show, which you can enjoy with just your family or guests in the open air at the Kaua'i Marriott's Kukui oceanfront restaurant.

have been a Marriott owner for approximately 20 years and I don’t think I have ever been so disappointed in a sponsored Marriott event. My family (party of 5) attended the Luau on December 19th. I have been to Luaus before and could not believe the presentation of the dinner, drinks, and overall quality of the Luau. We were told... More

I thought I didn't know what a luau was, so I looked it up "Hawaiian party or feast, especially one accompanied by entertainment". I even paid extra for the dinner. The only luau I've been to before (and others I've seen) are on the beach or in a big field, with a feast. This is a concert on the patio... More

We got there early and walked the grounds...nice shops a grand old mansion, manicured grounds and of course, chickens. Best show I'd ever seen including rock concerts. Lots of nice people and you sat in a table of 8/10. No problem. Lots of food and open bar...it's worth every penny you spend. Great cast of locals. Very polite.

The significance of the Hawaiian culture and history are demonstrated in the commentary and music of Hawaii Alive. And the charm of this show is that the family, wife, sons, nieces, and nephews are part of the performance. Aloha nui!

The luau at the Courtyard Marriott is, hands down, the best one I have ever attended. I’ve been to luaus on 5 Hawaiian Islands and the Courtyard Marriott had the fantastic combination of great food with a show stopping entertainment lineup. The story they wove along with the music and dancing was spectacular! They are far and above the most... More

Great show, it was lots of fun. Several different types of dances. Wife especially liked the fire dancing.

We went here for dinner and show one evening during our stay in Kauai. We loved the show and the beverages that were served. The buffet had a large selection, but you can find better quality food on the island.

This is a great show in the open air courtyard at the Marriott. With pre-ordered tickets for show only, the line to get in moved quickly. Seating is "choose your own" so get there early if you want front row. It's a fairly small crowd so the feeling is a bit more intimate as Wallis, the narrator and owner of... More

We didn't know what to expect when we signed up to see this show at our hotel but we were pleasantly surprised. All of the dancers seemed to be fairly young but extremely talented. This was a nice way to finish up our week in Kauai.
