The Hawaii Alive Luau Show is an outstanding show that brings you a unique and authentic Polynesian cultural experience through live traditional chants, music, drumming and dancing from the islands of Hawaii, Tahiti and Samoa. The show is located within the Marriott's enchanting tropical gardens and includes live music, an interactive host, traditional and modern hula, ancient chants, a chance to learn the hula yourself, Tahitian dancing, and the thrilling Samoan fire knife. We also offer optional private dining prior to the show, which you can enjoy with just your family or guests in the open air at the Kaua'i Marriott's Kukui oceanfront restaurant.

Just got into Kauai from a long day of business and then travel and my arrival to the Marriotts Kaua'i beach club made the day a great ending. Christina greeted me with a smile and was very flexible and accommodated my requests!! Couldn't of asked...More

We stayed at Marriott Kauai Beach Club and this was on site. We planned this as a kick start to our visit, with a different larger one later in the week.. I really liked this luau. Interesting, the concierge tried to sway us away from...More

The best Luau on the island!!!! We didn't go with the dinner but attended the show which exceeded my expectations! The show was spectacular! They definitely showed us the meaning of ALOHA~ They kept the audience small so it was intimate and interactive. I got...More

The dinner was plated and fairly good, but nothing that I would have ordered off a menu if I knew ahead of time what it would taste like. Dessert was not included. A traditional lei at the performance was also not included. Fifteen years ago...More

have been a Marriott owner for approximately 20 years and I don’t think I have ever been so disappointed in a sponsored Marriott event. My family (party of 5) attended the Luau on December 19th. I have been to Luaus before and could not believe...More

All I can say is what an Awesome show! All of the dancers were so professional and we loved all the different costume changes. But the Fire dancers were our favorite. Trust me you don't want to miss it... yes it's that good!

I thought I didn't know what a luau was, so I looked it up "Hawaiian party or feast, especially one accompanied by entertainment". I even paid extra for the dinner. The only luau I've been to before (and others I've seen) are on the beach...More

We got there early and walked the grounds...nice shops a grand old mansion, manicured grounds and of course, chickens. Best show I'd ever seen including rock concerts. Lots of nice people and you sat in a table of 8/10. No problem. Lots of food and...More

The significance of the Hawaiian culture and history are demonstrated in the commentary and music of Hawaii Alive. And the charm of this show is that the family, wife, sons, nieces, and nephews are part of the performance. Aloha nui!

Hello, I'm thinking that this luau is the size and intimacy I'm interested in. I was curious whether I can attend the Luau without actually staying at the Marriott. How do I secure tickets/gain admission? I will be on a cruise and really don't want to do the one offered by NCL. I can only imagine the lines getting on and off the buses that transport us to/from "their" luau. Please suggests what should do. Thanks

For tickets, go to Hawaii Live Luau website. Select "show only" and "No", you don't have to be a guest at the Marriott to attend the show. Compared the NCL backed luau, this is much smaller, intimate, a family affair and a... More

a Norwegian Cruise next month (Nov. 28 - Dec. 4) and are looking for a luau. The one offered as a shore excursion by the cruise ship hasn't had great reviews so we wondering if this one would be easily accessible from the cruise ship. Does any one know how far this location is from the cruise port and is transportation easily available, thinking maybe a taxi from cruise port to the luau and back aftetr the show. Many thanks

This Luau is at the Kauai Marriott Resort, less than a mile, walking distance from the cruise ship.
