Enjoyed this beach with our kids--lots of fish to see, pretty beach, bathrooms, picnic tables, ample parking if you're there early enough in the day--AND we got to swim with a sea turtle so that was a definite highlight. Second visit to the island and...More

This small beach is in a cove inlet offering protection from the surf and also a safe place to snorkel. Life guards on duty. Added bonus of regular visits by Hawaiian monk seals and sea turtles

A bit busy with its popularity but great for snorkeling even if the other side of the island is stormy!

Nice public beach area and area to walk around . Saw both large turtle and seal sleeping in the sand. There was a reasonable amount of parking but most filled up by time we got there at 10:30am

Absolutely stunning beach with great snorkeling opportunities. Lots of room for everyone both on the beach and in the water. Lifeguards on duty and a pretty decent amount of parking with washrooms and showers. Easy to understand how this was once voted Americas best beach.

We stayed within walking distance so to this beach so we spent quite a bit of time here. The grounds are beautiful and the kids had a great time playing in the water.

This is one of the best beaches for snorkeling. The water is great and you can feed fish at Was it length. We also had a seal sunbathing while we were snorkeling.

Sunny side of the island. Get there earlier to find parking across the street. Bring a cooler with drinks snacks. There is a deli and restaurant across from beach. Shave ice too

We saw one dog outside of the beach area. Unsure if they are technically allowed, though.
