If you could only catch this beach without so many people it would be amazing! Had fun swimming near the Monk Seal. The snorkeling is shallow but lots of fish!

This was a pretty spot to visit and not overcrowded. The waves were pretty strong the day we were there. So, we did not stay very long or get into the water. We will definitely return again.

Nice little beach and park. Nice area for some easy-going snorkeling. Definitely can see an array of fish right off the beach, not much coral to be seen of course but awesome and easy area! Mixed of grassy and sand areas with some picnic tables...More

This beach is easy to get to, quite a bit of parking, but busy on weekends. As you walk down to the beach, there is a volcanic rock berm on the left. It protects the swimmers from the large waves, but does let some of...More

Nice Clean Beach a wee bit rocky I suggest bringing water slippers or fins if your just swimming and enjoying the sun like the Monk Seals taking their afternoon nap.

Water is shallow enough for small children in some areas. That being said, the beach tends to get somewhat crowded with families. Lifeguards are present...as are an occasional turtle!

We were dubious that we would see many fish, given how many young children and adults were in the water. We were very surprised that we saw all sorts and sizes in shallow water, very close to shore. Although the water was cloudy, it was...More

Very pretty beach and good for families since there is a small barrier reef on one side that makes the water shallow and calm. We were fortunate in that the day we visited we were treated to a sea turtle sunning himself on the beach...More

It would be good for beginner snorkeling! It is protected by a reef so water is not rough. You need to be aware that in some spots the distance between rock and water surface is very very shallow and you need to be careful... More
