North shore beaches are much more exotic and worth your time. This is still a nice beach to relax with lots of seals and turtles to see.

Poipu beach was enjoyable though I liked the Hanalei bay beach better. At Poipu we got to see Walrus and turtle sun bathing.

We went here as a family during our visit to Kauai. Absolutely beautiful and spent our time wading through the water and watching the snorkelers, paddle boarders, and catamarans. We even got to see a monk seal up close and a whale in the distance!...More
