We started this trail from Shipwreck Beach; just parked in the lot right behind the Hyatt. There is a restroom there at the parking lot and a place to rinse off. The trail is not marked well at all; we were confused as to where...More

Found parking easily at Shipwreck Beach (next to the Hyatt). We aren't in the best shape, but found this to be a very easy, short hike. Bring a hat (it can get hot on the cliffs) and a bottle of water, plus wear plenty of...More

Parked & started trail at Shipwrecks Beach. Walked toward the ocean and went left hugging the coastline. Couldn't stop snapping pics and commenting how gorgeous. Went all the way past golf course, horse stables to beach with red waters flowing into the ocean from a...More

The reviews were right. This trail was not hard and had beautiful views. Only one problem is which trail to follow? High road or low road or any road. We chose the coast but that peters out and then you have to find the trail...More

Very scenic trail with spectacular views of the island and ocean. There is a short part of the trail on a golf course so be aware of golf balls. The terrain is somewhat rough on some parts so I recommend wearing sturdy shoes. I also...More

This is a great easy hike! It has super nice views of the south shore and out over the pacific. The beach is very quiet at the end, however the water is susceptible to run-off causing no safe swimming. Signs are posted.

Beginning of this trail is pretty challenging (don't wear flip flops) but then it's smooth sailing. Enjoy some great views. .

We have that there also a trail from Shipwreck beach going right instead of left. If so, where does it end up.

Same answer: facing the ocean, going right gives you a paved walking path that windes along the water and eventually fizzles out at the condos. Going left gives you the trail.
