This is a must-see while vacationing in Hawaii! It's totally worth the long drive up and down the twisting and turning road! Have some ice cream when you get back into town!

It is a very winding drive to get there but well worth it. It is beautiful!! Not a very big place but you must try the pineapple they sell.

The drive is pretty curvy, but easy. The canyon is magnificent! Lots of places to stop and take pictures. Opportunities for hiking. A light jacket may be needed! Be sure to take a camera!!!!!

take the drive to the north shore and enter there to waimea and you won't get behind any tour buses they go in from the other side. 7-8 in the morning is a good time

Look at weather reports but it should be pleasant but may be a little cool.
