My sister and I visited on April 17th. I think we were the only people there at the time so it was very quiet and we could take all the time we wanted reading the various exhibits. We found it quite interesting.

This Center is located near the Hotel Lanai. It recaps the history of the island using pictures and exhibits. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Be sure to pick-up a map of the Koloiki trail.

A great way to learn about Lanai's history and heritage. The timeline alone makes the visit worthwhile. Let your stomach settle after a great lunch at Blue Ginger Cafe by spending a half-hour or more here.
