This was a nice beach with small waves so very safe for children. There's an outrigger canoe club there as well and watching the canoes go in and out of the bay was fun. There's a cafe (fast food type of stuff; nothing fancy) and...More

Great for swimming, kayaking and picnics. Have an ice cream across from the bay (delicious creamy and fresh), after hiking the fairly easy lava rocks.

Beautiful beach with facilities and very much appreciated by the locals. We stopped here before checking in to our hotel: Hana Kai.

An excellent spot to rest while you drive to Hana, have a picnic and enjoy the scenery. Has tables some of which are undercover, toilets, water and also a small take away shop/restaurant where you can buy snacks and coffee.

The bay is large and peaceful. It has a nice large beach and also picnic areas. Nice area to walk around. This is a great stop off the highway and a great turn around area.

Loved this beach park. Not a town, just beaches state parks and a general store. Loved the remote location.
