Beautiful area after long but beautiful drive on Road To Hana. Very green area and a great bay to view the Pacific Ocean. Glad we made the trip,

Most easily accessible bay/beach that we found as we drive the island! Picnic tables & lots of beach!

We stopped here after a long journey on Hana Road. They have picnic tables to eat, a small beach, people surfing, and an area to swim and boat.

Got to Hana and made our way down to one of the most uncrowded beaches we saw in Maui. Went out to the pier and took some pictures but couldn't go to the end because it was in disrepair.

The drive to Hana is fabulous. This beach is great for family with kids, since the water and the sand are very clean and nice.

If you make the long and tiring drive to Hana and you miss seeing Hana Bay, you have missed one of the most beautiful beaches and views on the route. We rolled into Hana at about 10:00 AM and sort of by accident went right to Hana Bay. It was just another of those wonderful places to visit on the drive and like everything else, made the drive well worth the effort. If you take that drive, check out Hana Bay. You will we quite happy you took the time.

Not somewhere I'd spend a full day or 1/2 day, but as you cruise around Hana it's a quick visit.

Best part of it is it's fairly secluded, we saw only a handful of other people.
Also very nice views back into Hana, beautiful snapshot of the town from the bay.

The pier is closed (gated, locked) so no walking out on it. There's a beach that's somewhat black sand, but we didn't try to swim there.

The review has two components. The positive is that the natural bay is very pretty and has that secluded Hawaiian feel to it. It is a nice place to have a picnic or do some fishing and the parking lot surrounding the bay is ample.

The negative is that the beach, at least on the day we went, was not maintained at all. On top of that, the real bathrooms were broken and their was a lineup of outhouses.

It was nice to look at, but in the conditions that we saw, it wasn't a beach to spend the day.

This is a great place to watch the moon rise over the horizon. Just grab some food to go from the many food trucks nearby and park your car in the lot. You will not be disappointed to see the moon get brighter and larger as it comes up out of the water and as the night sky gets darker and darker.
