Had a lovely massage with Peggy who is a great therapist. The location in the Hale is very special, located on a cliff above Hana bay with the sounds of birds and the surf as the "soundtrack" to your massage. Price is much lower than resort across the street and it shares a driveway with the best Thai food in... More

February 2017 my wife and I were treated to an amazing 90 minute Lomi Luana in the traditional Hale overlooking Hana Bay. It was an awesome experience listening to the birds and the waves as we received our traditional Hawaiian hot stone massages. We were staying in Hana at the Travaasa which is right next to Luana Spa Retreat. Rather... More

We stayed for a week at the Travaasa. Its spa is a very traditional one: inside, air conditioned and nondescript music. The Luana is natural, outside and delightful. No frills except the relaxing sounds of ocean and birds in an open air hut. The massage was first rate and half the price of the Travaasa. My wife and I had... More

This is my second time at Luana Spa and the experience was just add good as the first. The yurts are rustic and charming but the couples massage overlooking the bay listening to the waves crash below is an experience like no other. Next time, I will book a room to stay in so I don't have to rush. The... More

What could be more inviting than having a lomilomi Hawaiian massage in a Hale overlooking Hana Bay surrounded by the jungle with birds chirping and waves crashing below you? Luana Spa Retreat. Only in remote, quiet, peaceful Hana. The last old Hawaiian place.

We enjoyed a spa day while staying in Hana. It was my daughter's first time going to a spa and loved it! They took very good care of her and her friend. It is not your traditional spa in that most of it is outdoors or in a hut, but that makes it super relaxing. Highly recommend going!

This is a way cool place to get a massage. You walk up a jungle path to get to a yurt. The preparation takes place there, and then you move to another yurt overlooking Hana Bay for the massage. While you relax into those soothing rubs, you listen to the waves coming into the rocks below. Very nice. My wife... More

Apres a gruelling but incredibly beautiful march along Waialua Bay,Waimea Bay and Sunset beach,we were in sore need of foot pampering. Luckily we booked the luxury treatment at the ocean's edge in this serene spa. Administered outdoors, overlooking the North Shore, our feet were soaked in bamboo bowls filled with coconut milk before the good stuff started with algae salt, honey, kukuinut oil and... More

My husband and I stayed here in the beginning of July for 2 nights. The yurt was perfect . It had everything you would need including a beautiful view. The bathhouse was great, it had a gorgeous lava stone shower with orchids. We loved eating breakfast every morning on the chairs in front of the yurt that overlooked the bay.... More

Our first night in Hana after the long drive we treated ourselves to a couple's lomilomi massage under the outdoor hale overlooking the bay. Eve and Linda were EXCELLENT and seemed to find all our fatigued muscles from a day of hiking and exploring en route to Hana. We both go to regular massages at home and they were two... More
