Two things you don't want to miss in your lifetime is the sunrise in the chill air on Top of Haleakala. The second. Is the ride down the mountain on a bicycle. You do precious little pedaling and a lot of coasting. The outfitter does...More

We did the Haleakala Sunrise & cycling tour. It was a very early start to the day (pick up was 2.45am) but well worth it! The sunrise was absolutely stunning at 10,000 feet. You are issued windbreaker pants and jacket but it gets very cold...More

The sunrise was amazing, we were very lucky to have a clear morning (although pretty cold! Had heard that the day before it was cloudy and raining) and our driver was very informative on the way there. We got there a bit earlier than most...More

OK - so this is getting four stars not because of Maui Downhill, but because the sunrise experience at Haleakala is so darn unpredictable. The Maui Downhill team were fun and extremely professional, with folks going out of their way to remember customer names and...More

What a fun ride!! The tour takes you for a beautiful scenic ride in a van while pulling the bikes on a trailer. Once you are above the clouds at the top, about 6,500 feet, you get your bike. Be sure to take pictures before...More
