Has a 30-year scuba diver, I've dove with many dive operators all over the world. Scuba Shack ranks on my short list of favorites. Every member of their team is friendly, helpful, safety conscious, and easy-going. There equipment is new and excellent (they sell it and get new equipment every month!), and their boat is designed for diving. We brought... More

Dove with scuba shack in march of 2017. We had requested to dive the wall on the backside of molokini but it wasn't scheduled for our dive date. Despite that scuba shack delivered it. 2 great dives out at molokini. Prior to diving we had been advised there were more fish in the reserve this year than Charlie had seen... More

Charlie and his crew were fantastic. Booking was easy, boat ride exhilarating, and pre-dive outfitting was efficient and well thought out. The two dives were conducted in a very safe and competent manner. Visibility off Molokini was excellent. A thoroughly memorable experience- highly recommended!!!

Dove with Scuba Shack on my vacation to Kihei Maui in April 2017. I asked to see a Manta Ray and they delivered. What a thrill! The visibility at Molokini is fantastic and there are so many beautiful fish! The Scuba Shack is a first class operation and runs like a well-oiled machine. Very professional, fun and knowledgeable crew. The... More

We almost booked into one of those large dive boats. Instead we are glad we found the Scuba Shack. Very professional and the smaller group size (twelve or less) lends itself to a more personalized experience. Our snorkel guide Joe was very knowledgeable about the exotic fishes we were seeing during snorkeling.

We can't recommend The Scuba Shack more highly! From great customer service of booking our dive to our day out on the water, we left on time, everything on & off board was extremely well organized & efficient. We had a great day out at Molokini crater with Captain Charley& Joe both extremely knowledgeable in the marine life & the... More

Charley and Joe did everything right. They were very organised and professional. They know how to have fun and know the top spots and have so much knowledge about the dive site and islands. They made our day and were super chill... Highly rated!!!!

I have been diving in Maui for over 20 years. This year I found myself there with no dive buddy and contemplated not diving. Then I saw the pictures posted by a friend who dove with Scuba Shack while on a visit. I decided to go with them since I was in Wailea and they left from Kihei boat ramp.... More

We went to the ABC store to get some snacks and stumbled upon the coolest shop! Here we rented boogie boards and even found the perfect snorkel trip! Everything was very reasonably priced. The employees and snorkel/dive crew are awesome! You can tell that diving is their passion! The captain, Charlie, has a great sense of humor! We snorkeled this... More

The Scuba Shack is one of many recreational diving shops that operate from Kihei, a small surf town in Maui. Since the boat would be launching from a pier close to our hotel and recommended by our concierge, I booked a dive with them and showed up at the public ramp at 6A. Coffee and snacks were offered to rouse... More
