We checked out this spot more than once during our trip as it was close, had free parking, not too busy and great swimming. The waves are just big enough to be fun but not scary and there is plenty of sand to relax on.

Locals use this beach and are very friendly. Swim near the beach or just watch the surfers do their thing.

Traveled all over Maui during our two week stay. Our favorite sunsets were at Kam III Beach. Great snorkeling spot in the mornings. Nice sandy beach for swimming. Lifeguards on duty.

I don't know that the park has them, but you have access to public outdoor showers at the condos across the street.
