This is a wonderful place to stop and watch for wildlife, especially bird life. While the best times are early morning, we were able to see some native species in the pond without much difficulty. The visitor center helps put things in perspective and the...More

We stopped at the Kealia Pond on the way home from a tour of the West Island. It was an awesome place for bird watching and watching the sunset over the mountain.

This a wonderful free activity. Go in the morning before it gets too warm. Great bird watching. Parking can be problematic. Take your time.
