We stopped here hoping to see lavender in bloom but it wasn't in bloom. Nevertheless, it was a nice stop to soak up all the zen and beauty, get your lavender fix and continue on. We had lavender scones and coffee, i noticed families with...More

As part of a partial drive around the island we stopped here. Two small boys had a great time running around. I enjoyed the gardens even though the lavender was not in bloom. The other plants were lovely and the hydrangeas were huge and beautiful....More

Ok, this attraction isn't for everyone. If you are a thrill-seeker who wants to stay near the beach, I'd skip it. But if you like lavender, gardens, and a nice view, it's worth checking out. My family hassled me for wanting to go here, but...More

Expected more than being charged to walk around amongst a bunch of largely dormant lavender plants. Turned around and avoided being fleeced. Ol' PT was right!

A beautiful property with great bicoastal view of Maui due to its elevation. We took the offered tour and learned quite a bit about lavender, and then went to the gift shop and bought some of their delicious lavender scones.

It is off the beaten path but it has incredible vistas. The bathrooms are porta potties and were rather full when we were there. Lovely gift shop with various lavender scented products. You can purchase hot lavender tea or coconut scones at the gift shop....More

This was a beautiful and peaceful attraction that added some interesting variety to a trip that was mostly beach-centered. The walking tour was relaxing and informative, the setting was lovely, and, of course, everything smelled wonderful!

Allow at least an hour but I agree with the other responder--this isn't worth a special trip. Makawao is a cute town to visit and the surfing goat dairy is anothe fun diversion if you head up country.
