We were excited to do a canoe ride. I had booked this tour months in advance and it was pre-paid on their website. We wound up having a friend join us and she went to book the tour at a later date. Soon after, she got an email that told her the tour was canceled and she was receiving a... More

Spent the morning with the family, Tim and Jordan took us out on one of their canoes, it was AWESOME! These are professionals, they build canoes, they know what they are doing! Highly recommend this place if you are visiting Maui. The kids were able to swim, saw turtles and lot of fish and rare Monk seal. Very knowledgable and... More

My wife and I had a great morning with Willy and Carrie in their outrigger canoe. The ocean was calm. The sun was shining. The water was clear. We saw dozens and dozens of sea turtles. Some swam right beside the canoe and you could touch them on their backs. There were also all kinds of fish swimming in the... More

My wife and I met Willy, the operator with the ocean smarts and lots of aloha in Lahaina at the Polynesian Canoe Adventures compound. We came to go out on SUPs and he was very helpful. The gear is right on the beach, so easy in the water and out. The rental price included the board, paddle, water shoes, and... More

This excursion was the worst experience we have ever had on Maui. We were supposed to have a 2 hour trip, 1/2 hour on instruction and Hawaii history, and 1 1/2 hours on the canoe. It was supposed to be from 11 to 1, with a check in at 12:45. Willie, the main guy there was on the phone at... More

We hired SUPs off Willy and the guys at Polynesian Canoe Adventures in May this year. The location was great for all levels of paddler and the boards were good quality and value. Thanks heaps to Willy for your easy going nature and chilled Hawaiian style. We hired the boards pretty much every day for a week with a few... More

It was a very refreshing experience, the tour guides were full of history and stories taught us how to canoe as a team showed us areas of interest. I would recommend it highly and plan on doing this again

My husband and I had an awesome experience on the outrigger canoes! We were attracted to the company because they use the proceeds to raise money for a trip around the world in an ancient sailing canoe. That boat was being built right on site! It also didn't feel super touristy and my husband and I enjoy the more authentic... More

Wow! What an outsanding experience to be on a glass-surfaced sea, with wonderful canoe companions, Willy's great sense of humour (and amazing laugh), getting up close and personal with the whales, the turtles and feeling the aloha of Maui. I just cannot describe the emotion as it was simply breathtaking. And catching a wave on our way back was tons... More
