Didn't really come to Maui for diving, but decided to get my Advanced Open Water certification. 5 dives in two days--Glad I did. Mike has MORE experience diving Maui than any other person on the island (>30 years). Although safety is obviously his #1 priority, he doesn't shove it down your throat--his laid back sense of humor cleverly disguises it!... More

My Son and I got certified on DPV from Mike in one day on our vacation. Mike is very easy to work with and you will learn more than just what you are there for. He had all equipment needed as my mask broke. We did 2 dives and had a blast!

My father booked a two dive beach/ scooter dive on our family vacation to Maui, and for a newly certified diver I felt so comfortable with Scuba Mike. My father has been diving for 20+ years and right away after said that Mike was by far one of the most knowledgeable and experienced dive masters he's ever had. Mike is... More

If safety is a concern, you found the right guy. Scuba Mike is extra cautious to ensure the safety of you and your family while diving. He was funny, knowledgeable and thorough!!!! If you are looking for a soft spoken Disney character, stick to a pool with life guards. If you want a dive instructor you can trust with your... More

I took my three kids, 13, 18 & 21, for a beach dive with one of the DiveMasters. He was great with the kids. Very relaxed, no stress, and all the equipment was there on location. We used scooters on the second dive, which was a new experience for all of us. We went through several open caverns and spotted... More

The person who gave the bad review was completely wrong. Likely not a good diver. I have been here a week with Scuba Mike getting my Rescue Certification. He has the ability to take a mobile van to many dive sites, Maui is a shore dive atmosphere. I love the option of delivering gear with his fancy Mercedes, however his... More

Mike was amazing, if you want a very knowledgable instructor this is your man. Not only knowledgable but he is patient and takes the time to listen to your needs, and help you work through anything. Stern at first then wanted to know what you are thinking or where you are at all the time. This I found me very... More

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This was the absolute worst experience in over 600 dives from over 30 dive operators around the world. Mike talks a great story and is an excellent salesperson and comes across as a great guy. He works from his truck and is difficult to contact when trying to find his site. He advised me to take... Aloha David, Firstly, I am sorry about your experience with your taxi, they really should know the meeting spot, it is a common location that any Maui resident would know, maybe they are new to the island? We are a small operation, if we reserve a day to dive with you we are turning away another customer, so if you... More

We had a great time diving with Mike! We saw amazing sea life, turtles, tropical fish, a massive fish called "Ulua" or giant trevalli. The water temperature was perfect, the process was fun and we learned a lot about diving. Thanks!

We booked a dive with "Scuba Mike" and clearly told him that one of us had dove before and the other had never been scuba diving. He said that was great and he could accommodate both of us on the dive and teach me how to scuba dive since I had not done it before. We arrived right on time... More
