The harbour is fine and great because I love boats. But honestly there is nothing special about the harbour- the Lahaina area close by is brilliant but the harbour is simply a safe place for all the tour boats

Lahaina Harbor is a launch point for several tours. However, the real treat is the Banyan Tree and the Art Festival held most weekends. It features local artist selling their artwork and crafts. We also like to eat at Captain Jack's located across from the Banyan Tree with views of Front Street and Lahaina Harbor.

Lahaina Divers used this harbor for their two boats. Easy walk from their shop along the local shops and through a park full of banyon trees.

The harbor is small but if whale watching or deep sea fishing is your desire, make your way to the harbor. There is no parking to speak of thus be prepared to walk several blocks. Also the homeless have many sites in the parks adjacent to the harbor moorings.

We went to Lahaina Harbor to catch one of the Trilogy sailboats to go whale watching. I love the views and the activity there!

Go here and look for Ultimate Whale Watch. They use rafts and very friendly and knowledgeable captains to get you on the whales.

The harbour front is busy from sun up to sun down. The morning brings loads of tourists boarding their vessels for day trips and excursions. The sunset view here is rivaled by few as you watch the sun dip behind the island of Lanai peaks. If you see police cars in the area don't be alarmed, they are checking in... More
