We went to Baldwin Beach Park twice during our 5-day stay. Because it wasn't crowded, the sand was a beautiful golden color, and there was plenty of parking.

It felt a little iffy for me walking around the area, a single lady alone. There were some questionable characters hanging around. Also the day I went the surf was high and no one was swimming. However, they did have bathrooms which was convenient, and...More

We went twice, once to an area where you could ride in the waves and once to "baby beach," protected by a reef so that the water was calm. It's a beautiful beach, and both times not crowded.

From end to end, this is a long sandy white beach complete with waves, a lagoon for lap swimming and turtles galore.

We swan here twice while staying in Pa'ia and loved it both times. On the first trip, the wind was up at first, so we walked down to Baby Beach (about a quarter mile from the parking lot) and bobbed in the water there. We...More

I can't comment on buses to the beach because they are quite limited so we've never used them. You may want to consider a car rental since you can drive to several stunning beaches in only a few minutes from the airport... More
