My sister and I stumbled across this place when we stopped for lunch at The Mill House. I wish we would have had more time to check it out, but from the things we did see it was beautiful!! Our waiter explained that it's a working plantation and that all of our food was coming to the table right off... More

The setting of this place was lovely as it is nestled against some pretty lush mountains but the tour left a lot tto be desired. The guide was cheerful and had some good commentary but the tour was so quick... For twenty dollars I was really surprised at how little ground we covered and how short it was. There was... More

We went here mainly for the zipline and had a lovely time! There are 5 ziplines and the entire experience lasts for a little over an hour. The guides were very helpful, encouraging and ensured we were safe and entertained :) The plantation is beautiful.. we saw many indigenous plant species. The restaurant had delicious Italian food among other offerings.

I have wanted to visit the Maui Tropical Plantation for years, having passed by it on previous trips to Maui. This year (2017) I finally stopped by. The tram ride around some of the property is pretty low key, with the highlight being the actual husking of a coconut. The restaurant has a gorgeous view across water, but the service... More

What can you say about Maui? Words can't describe the beauty of the island. I went to the plantation because it is one of the free things you can do on Maui. Plus they were advertising a tour of the plantation. I had always wanted to see a Hawaiian plantation. We discovered the tour was pretty expensive and the girl... More

We went there based on Tripadvisor recommendations and were not disappointed. There is a great gift store/market that has a wide selection of souvenirs, Hawaiian shirts, foods and some top notch art. The grounds also include coffee shop, zipline, ice cream shop, a fine dining farm to table restaurant and some boutiques. We greatly enjoyed the Tram tour that circles... More

The gardens are beautiful. You can walk them on your own or take the tram tour to learn more about the plants and gardens. Its on the grounds that was a sugar plantation. They did a fabulous job incorporating some old sugar mill machinery pars into the landscaping. The Mill House restaurant is wonderful with gorgeous views of the grounds... More

My family did the zip line here and I shopped. It was a great experience for all of us. My girls and husband LOVED the crew that helped them on the zip line. Even two in my group had done some pretty intense zip lines before, they said the crew that helped them made it all worthwhile. Safety was most... More

Truthfully I didn't think something like this was still around. Fun tram tour with the family to learn about different crops in Hawaii. The stop to learn all about coconuts was worth the trip. Beautiful grounds and a nice restaurant for lunch. They used many old machinery parts to decorate. From a train engine to a sugar cane factory pipe.... More
