A must see in Maui! A real beautiful not touristy place to hike in the rainforest, see bamboo, see Taro garden and swim in the pools.

A beautiful small park. This is an excellent place to have a picnic and take short hikes. It can close due to flooding after heavy rainfalls so check online ahead of time if you are planning to do any hiking.

Road access closed due to flood damage, but we drove close as could and parked near gates blocking entrance. We were able to hike a trail from parking lot to get closer for better view and photos.

Do something else! The needle is closed at least until June 2017. Although I would check even after that, as other places in Hawaii that have closed have not re-opened on time.

This is a nice walk through the rain forest. You will enjoy the coolness of the shaded walkway and the beauty at the end of the walk. You should be able to get some beautiful photos
