What a great course, but expect to play in the wind. The people and the course made this a place we will return. Everyone was very helpful, including the tips we were given while warming up. It's important to listen to the suggestions and do what you are told because they were spot on. Played the Blue/White combo and had... More

From the time we made a tee time--we live in Scottsdale and made the tee time thru Troon--we were treated well. Cassie in the pro shop made our reservations and greeted us when we arrived. She was delightful, friendly and very very helpful. She is a one person chamber of commerce for Kimg Kamehameha and Hawaii. The course was in... More

Spectacular views on a world class golf course. The Taliesin adapted Frank Lloyd Wright design Clubhouse makes for a gorgeous backdrop to the 18th hole. Maui bound golfers need to pull strings to get on this private course, but they are welcoming to visitors who belong to Mainland country clubs. The Kapalua Plantation Course may be first on your list,... More

We went for Sunday brunch to see local singing legend Willie K. and friends. The banquet room is set up well to provide a good view of the stage and also good access to the buffet. The buffet had a great selection of fresh fruits and dishes as well as hot food. Nice presentation and good staff to look after... More

A way to be welcomed back to Maui... Played this excellent golf course, while I ended up playing alone, I was not disappointed, in fact, was able to play from the tips, 7000 yrds.. and what a treat. Thanks to Rick, director of golf at King Kamehameha and Frank from Markland Wood for organizing. If you ever have the opportunity... More

We were intrigued when we heard that there was a site on Maui where we could visit the work of one of our favorite architects - Frank Lloyd Wright. Sure enough, the King Kamehameha Golf Club offers just such a treat. We visited in the early afternoon, a very quiet time. We were warmly welcomed when we told the receptionist... More

This is a private club that offers limited visitor play usually before 8:00am and later in the afternoon. Best to phone a month in advance to ensure you can get a tee time. The club is run extremely well. We were truly treated like members from the time we arrived, through check in, on the course and over a late... More
