Clare is the kayaking lady! You won't find a friendlier or knowledgable person. She definitely made our trip amazing. Without her, our adventures would of been a little slow. I can't wait to visit Molokai again and to say hi to Clare and to get more kayaking in!!! Many thanks for making our trip amazing!!!

I've had two kayaking excursions with Clare and her team, and both were excellent. First, they helped us organize a very adventurous North Shore paddling/camping trip from Halawa to Pelekunu. More recently, I joined one of their downwind paddling day trips on the South Shore. The Molokai Outdoors team are knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. You'll have a great time!

We were in 2 double kayaks with Clare in the lead. She was very informative about Molokai, it's history, it's culture. We learned about and kayaked to an ancient, still active fish pond. We saw mangroves and beach erosion first hand. I'm a beginner kayaker and Clare was so reassuring as we headed out to the inner rings of the... More

My tour with Molokai Outdoors was amazing. The guide was Thadd, a friendly and funny local who had a very expansive knowledge of the island and it's history. Thadd made the whole day feel fun and engaging, he made the whole experience very special. I saw some gorgeous sights, found some beautiful gifts to take home, and met the most... More

My partner and I wanted to visit Molokai from Maui for the weekend but couldn't find a car rental anywhere. I contacted Molokai Outdoors and they were able to hook us up with one! They also arranged our tour to Kalaupapa - the reason for our trip and an unforgettable experience. They made our trip planning so much easier!

Ok so i would start by saying you should do this tour. Even though I have only given it 3. It is what the island is most known for. The story itself (read the book by OA Bush Nell) is compelling and evocative. The hike and scenery themselves is worth it. However the tour felt like a dramatisation of a... More

Since the winds were oddly opposite for the day, we took the tour backwards which was just fine. We saw numerous turtles - big & small, a whale jumping, and even a shark. The tour was done at a comfortable pace and the morning trip was serene and beautiful. We stopped to see the mangroves and Clare gave us a... More

Molokai is a very special place, and Molokai Outdoors Island Tour was the perfect way to be introduced to the magical Island! It turned out we were the only ones on our tour & Rudy was an incredible host! He picked us up at the Airport at 7:30a and took us to Kanemitsu Bakery for a quick breakfast! Since it... More

The hike from the "mule gate" down to Kalaupapa, the tour with Damien Tours, and the hike back up are a great experience. Depending upon one's physical fitness and hiking experience, it is best to start the hike about 7:45-8:00. As others have reported, the fence across the road and just north of the mule barn, gives no hint that... More

My wife and I had an enlightening tour and history of the work of Father Damien and others as they risked the unknown to care for those afflicted with leprosy in 1873. Clare was excellent, sharing the history and her passion for the subject matter. My only suggestion is that they have a microphone when their guides are speaking.
