We dropped through after an afternoon at Aloha Stadium, and walked so quite a wander to get over there. Lots of shops and things to do though! It was a bit out for us to get to from Waikiki so not sure whether I'd head out again but there were some cool things like a big Toys R Us on... More

Good indoor mall. My opinion, it caters more towards the local, younger crowd than the tourists. Stores are middle end to bargain stores. Two separate wings Uptown and Downtown connected by a monorail ($) or a quick 5 minute walk. Parking is ample, but tends to run out during the busy holiday sales. Not to much variety for food. Both... More

Turns out it is actually a well laid out mall with a nice variety of shops. Had a few things I needed and instead of having to run all over, the mall had it all. The result, I got back to my vacation, the beach and sand in record time. An added plus, unlike another massive mall, I did not... More

This was a large center spread over two sites connected by a monorail. Large parking facilities throughout sites. Anchor shops being Macy's and Sears with numerous smaller units inside center. Not as good as Al Moana center and unless in the area and with transport, not worth the extra time to visit.

Want to avoid the Ala Moana crowds or just dont want to drive into town. Pearlridge is a nice local mall with better prices and better shopping. Unless of course you are looking gor high end shops. Then you have to go to town. This is not a tourist mall. Its a nice normal mall

This mall was advertised as the second biggest mall, and I've been to the first, so was expecting to have a day out. Was very disappointed. No premium shopping and very limited choice for lunch.

We come here nearly every weekend that it is raining. Great indoor place with food and shopping. We let the baby walk around and burn off energy instead of being trapped in the house. They usually got some type of activity going on at the uptown center stage area for the kids.

Great place to shop and dine away from the tourist. This is a much more of a local mall where locals come to shop. Lot of variety of shops and restaurants .

We hired a Car and decided to try out Pearl Ridge. Its not as glamorous as Ala Moana but I really liked the fact it was indoors. Coming from NZ Winter to Hawaii 32C shopping at Ala Moana was tough as it is an Open Style Shopping Area. Pearl Ridge was a nice change being a lot cooler indoors. It... More

Not sure how anyone can rate it as excellent. It had a bunch of staples: coffee, movies, food and shops. I've been to a ton of malls and although they have been improving with the new bathrooms and extension in the recent years, it's still just an average mall.
