If you want to surf it's a good spot for beginners. But you need to be really careful cause the bottom it's really rocky and shallow. When I was getting out with my surfboard I stepped on sea urchin. Was really painful, like thousands needles...More

I saw the massive waves and current ar Waimea Beach and asked the life guard; Where is a safe place to swim? Well this is the place. It has a protected rock barrier, no drop off and short break. After I discovered with delightful town...More

This is a large grassy area on the outskirts of "downtown" Haleiwa. There are picnic tables, restrooms and children's playground equipment. There is limited shade.

Nice, quiet beach and park. Good place to hang out if you’re in town, but not a destination point if you’re elsewhere. We did see one turtle come ashore and the sunset was nice.

Beautiful spot which isn't usually as crowded as many other beached on the island. Parking hasn't been bad the three times I've been here, even at sunset. Great views of the water and plenty of room to find your own spot. Restrooms here for changing,...More

Enjoyed the surfers. Beach is eroded and not good for young children but still had a good time watching the surfers.

We were looking for a kids friendly beach and locals pointed us here . Sand was not very clean, and the background had some abandoned looking homes that just didn’t fit in the picture . Ocean had nice waves but that’s about all . Didn’t...More
