I learned to surf at this location and it was great. The waves were nothing like the small ones in Waikiki. The waves are intimidating for a beginner but I managed to do it. I surfed the waves and felt fully comfortable after my third...More

Beautiful sunset if you able to go, great for family and friends. No fee to park. Plenty of parking and beach is not crowded.

Great amenities, plenty of parking, and besides being a bit rocky, everything was great. SEA TURTLES swam by many times!

Popular with locals and family-friendly this is a beautiful beach on the North Shore of Oahu. Can get a bit crowded so get there early or be patient for a parking spot.

Easy entry for snorkeling. Little shallow at first so watch your knees but then gets deeper until it drops off. Good amount of tropical fish and we saw 6 green sea turtles within 1 hour of snokeling.

Nice family friendly beach park. Calm water in the summer and good surf in the winter. The Triple Crown Surf comp.s start here before moving to Sunset and Pipeline.

Big beach, lots of room, places to park and facilities to use. Snorkeling very good. A little boogie boarding, but surf not up in July.

Fun place to hang out on the beach. not much place that's safe for swimming, but lots of sand to just lounge around and watch the locals do their thing

We came expecting more waves but found that summer is off season for the big waves and surfers! But we had young children so it was perfect for them to enjoy! I would recommend water shoes since there are rocks in the water!
