We rented a couple SUPs and took them up the river a couple times. Great experience and a relatively calm surf during the summer. It'd be nice if there were more vendors near the beach park.

I am here now, Sunday at 11am. Not crowded seems like more of a local beach area. Haleiwa Ali beach is part of it and it's smaller and less crowded. Plenty of parking, bathrooms, showers, lifeguards. Clean beach, good Sandy water entry. All good just...More

Nice beach park to have a relaxing day if you can find parking. Ocean is nice with some wave action. Gets crowded. Has restrooms and showers. Better to go Alii beach side.

We were driving by just before sunset so we pulled over and enjoyed the sunset. Such a friendly feel in the North shore area. Every park in the area is inviting and beautiful.

Another great beach along the famed north shore of Oahu. Beautiful sand beach, great warm water. Parking was easy and a Must See on the beach tour

After being disappointed at Turtle Beach for the absence of turtles when we visited, we drove down to Haleiwa Beach park & were delighted to see turtles in the surf (but not onshore). Ample parking & there are surf lessons on offer for those interested.

We enjoyed our stay at this beach. The waves were big but we brought a tube so we felt comfortable getting in the water. There are surfers in the ocean but they are far from the shore so you won't bother them nor do they...More

Loved the beach and swimming - easy to handle waves. There is a high rock at the left hand side where teenagers love to jump about 8 meters down into the water - quite challenging. Great white beach - totally loved it - didn´t stay...More
