Stopped by to see the beach on our way around the north shore. It was beautiful. I wish we would have had more time to spend there.

One of our favourite beaches to go to on the north shore, or anywhere on Oahu for that matter. Change rooms, bathrooms, food trucks, everything you need. Parking can be a challenge as it gets busy. Pick a day where they are forecasting big waves,...More

A stroke of luck to see some whales from sunset beach today. Lovely stop in your tour. Great fruit van. Toilets across the road.

This is a beautiful spot close to the most coveted surf beaches in the world. On a good day you can catch pro surfers ripping the waves while you bathe in the sun and enjoy a picnic.

We went on a weekday, the weather was beautiful and the beach was not crowded. The waves were nice, not too big. We had an enjoyable afternoon there.

Up to watch the big waves and the surfers at Sunset...the waves were very broken up and the wind was howling but it's still the North shore and it was great...parking is always an issue but luck prevails and we got parking up front...definitely would...More

We came here an hour before sunset. It started to fill up along the way but it was honestly the most beautiful sunset I’ve seen. The colours were amazing. Should definitely stop by if in the area.

Not being a surfer, it's a great place to watch surfers and hang out on the sand. Limited parking is frustrating.

We saw temporary camps hidden in the bushes at Waimea Bay but they looked a bit ugly.

Parking is at a premium so snag a spot wherever you can. Admission was free the day we were there but perhaps it depends on the event.
