This it's a fun little stop if you are driving through the North Shore of Oahu. Plenty of samples to taste. In the back there is ample samples of coffee! You can also crack your own macadamia nut.

We stopped here for around 20 minutes during our circle island tour so I can only comment on the shop. It was as expected - free samples of coffee, nuts and sauces all readily available to purchase plus all the other touristy trinkets like jewellery,...More

If you wish to buy different varieties of macadamia nuts, this is your stop. For me it was just a shop with nuts, lotions, potions, vendors selling jewelry, a shop for pearls and a spot under a tree in the back to crack macadamia shells....More

I would not go out of my way to get here (and I did), but if you are making the circle tour of the island, stop on by. There are samples of many nuts, you can crack your own (and I did), there is free...More

Found about this place on Trip Advisor. All were good reviews but you always wonder how it really will be. First of all, there are plenty of macadamia nut samples, all you want in fact. The tour is highly recommended. The entertainers are authentic local...More

This was a surprisingly fun stop on our way to kahuku farms. Take the $20 tour ( cash only) they make fire and do a mini fire dance. All the ladies on our tour got hand made crowns with a fresh hibiscus flower. Very entertaining....More

We went to Tropical farms with our rented car. It is easy to find and lots of parking. As you come near the farm there are people outside telling you where to go. You go into the shop and they have every kind of macadamia...More

Really cute little farm where they sell lots of local goodies including macadamia nuts more ways than you can imagine. The staff was very friendly and you can crack your own macadamia nuts behind the store for free!

My Dad said he wanted some macadamia nuts. We stopped by one day, just parked and started walking around on our own. Was surprised at how good of a time we had. Not only can you try out the different flavors of nuts before you...More

Typical tourist stopover - but a good one. Complimentary coffee (surprisingly delicious) and a selection of nuts. Didn't have any tasters of Wasabi nuts on offer but we bought some anyway They were fantastic with just the right amount of 'bite'. All in all a...More

Can you schedule the "mini" tour ahead. It sounds like a small number of spots are available and we are a group of 4.

Does the farm offer tours when you pay admission or do you have to book a tour with an outside agency? We will have a rental car and be in Hawaii for almost three weeks. We want to do as much as we can on our own to save money. Thanks!

There's no admission to the "farm". It's just basically a store where you go in and sample macadamia nuts. The tour is around back and you pay when you get there. It's actually a separate entity from the "farm". It's a... More
