One of the better spots on Oahu to snorkel. Not for beginners due to the surf entry and deeper waters. Saw sea turtle on fist visit. Not much beach if you are just looking for a place to swim.

We have come out snorkeling here for years. Sometimes the surf at the entry beach is quite high and can pound a novice snorkeler pretty hard. Sometimes the swim out to the electric plant water discharge area can be a lot farther than it looks....More

This is a beautiful spot for snorkelers and divers! Great place to take beautiful pictures and relax. The waves can get a little big and choppy on this side so be cautious. You will definitely see turtles and lots of fish!❤️

Situated next to the Kahe power plant, the coolant release draws in a large variety of sea life. Take the adventure of dodging waves to get out there, or go down to the wider beach for a longer, but calmer approach. You will definitely like...More

Full of locals and tourists. Discover Farrington Rd. Go up to the end. Huge crater to see. Beach was gorgeous sand and the clear water sparkled.

This was a fun and easy place to snorkel or beach dive. I recommend entering the water next to the fence line and keeping your mask and fins in had until you are past the break. The waves are not that big, just wait for...More

Also known as electric beach (because of its location by an electric plant) this is a smaller beach. The waves can get pretty intense. It is a good place for body surfing or boogey boarding.

We went there in December and winds were over 30km. The currents were too strong and we didn't snorkel too much. That said, many people say this is the best place to snorkel on the island with good chances to find and see a turtle.

Uneven, rugged 5 or 6 mile beach walk to the point, depending upon which entrance you select. Lots of Laysan albatrosses, amazing rock formations, lovely walking by the sea or you can take the road. Expect rain for sure in December so bring rain gear...More
