The Dole Plantation is the definition of a tourist trap. Pearls are being sold before you get in the front door. Once inside, you realize that you are in a massive "gift shop" with not only shelves of merchandise, but many many stations manned by...More

This place is definitely hopping with tourists but for good reason. Get the famous Dole Whip but remember there's a sushi stand in their store worth tasting.

The plantation is beautiful but not much there to see unless you take the train. We spent over an hour in the gift shop because we got trapped buying the oyster pearls and jewelry. Nice gift but would have rather toured the gardens. :-)
