This is one of the better tourist traps in Hawaii. You can do everything in a couple of hours, and leave with much more knowledge about pineapple than you'd probably want to know. It's a nice pit-stop on your vacation since it's in the middle of the island and you pass it anytime you drive up north. Walking around the... More

Very interesting and informative. Beautiful gardens, many flowers. The pineapple express train ride is worth the cost. Very informative about the pineapple business in Hawaii. Be sure to sample the pineapple ice cream (soft serve). Lots of food and trinkets.

We enjoyed every minute of our visit to the Dole Plantation. The lush vegetation, the pineapple maze, a fun little train ride, and lots of Dole treats - especially the Dole Whip - made this a great day trip.

This is an attraction you'll find in Oahu. It's on the tourist route with all the buses. It nice and caters to your souvenir instincts. I arrived early, before it opened. Took the train ride experience and sampled the pineapple ice cream. Nice gardens.

We took all 5 kids ages 4-15. The younger kids like the train and the older ones like the maze. It was a nice 1/2 day trip for all ages.

If you have had dole whip there is no need to go. I went to try the dole whip. I was not impressed but hey now I can say I've tried it.

Went here to see the operation. The Pineapple Express was phenomanal!! The narrated tour of the plantation was informative and gave a great overview of the pineapple industry. It also gave additional information on the Dole plantation and the expanding operations that they have/will/are taking in the development of the Hawaiian islands.

Had a nice trip here on a rainy day in Hawaii. I don't recommend visiting here during the winter though. It was still beautiful even in the rain, but more plants/flowers would be out in the spring and summer. Take the Pineapple Express and learn some interesting history about the plantation and take a stroll through the garden containing various... More

It is always fun to stop at the Dole Plantation on a drive to the North Shore. Just have to have a pineapple sundae and a trip on the train is always a delight. Pineapple maze is fun for first-timers. Gift shop is fascinating and you will find many one-of-a-kind gifts to bring home although it is very expensive. I... More

We spent an enjoyable few hours at this tourist destination. You must get the Dole Whip. It's delicious. There is a cute train ride around the property and an inexpensive lunch shop on site. Kids liked the pineapple maze and henna stand.
